Welcome to the Bird Conservation Summer Camp
We’re so glad you’re here!
Thank you for your register and joining the Bird Conservation Summer Camp. We’re excited to welcome students into a week of exploration, learning, and connection with nature.
Once your forms are submitted and reviewed, you will receive an invoice link via Stripe. Please follow the instructions to complete the $50 program fee within two days to secure your student’s spot.
If you have any questions during the process, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
We look forward to learning and exploring together this summer!
What students need to bring
Every day we will spend some time outside. Students should be prepared to be in the elements and walk on uneven terrain. Please make sure your child brings the following items for them to be comfortable during this week.
Checklist:
- Sunscreen (We are unable to apply sunscreen, your child should come from home with sunscreen on them or be able to apply it themselves).
- A hat or cap for sun protection.
- Be dressed for the weather. Layers are a great way to make sure you are comfortable as the day warms up.
- A rain jacket in case of rainy weather.
- An extra pair of shoes and socks in case they get wet (optional).
- Closed toe shoes.
- A refillable water bottle.
- Reading glasses, if needed.
- Insect repellant (optional).
- Lunch
Make sure all items are labeled with the child’s name.
Ticks are a fact in our area. We will be outside in the woods every day, and even though we will stay on trails, there is a chance that your child will get ticks. Please, make sure you check your child for ticks every day after they come home from camp.
